Herman Cabeje

I graduated from Monache High School in Porterville, California in 1989. I moved to Chicago area to finish my education in 1995. I got my bachelor’s from DeVry University in Electronic Engineering Technology from Addison, Illinois in 1997. After graduation, I worked for Boeing in St. Louis, MO and worked on F-15 aircrafts for Israel. I started to volunteer for a church organization and tutored ESL (English as a Second Language) and found my passion in teaching. So, I pursued my education to become a teacher at Roosevelt University in Chicago/Schaumburg and got my Master’s in Special Education and graduated in 2008. I have taught in two therapeutic day schools, a self-contained class for middle school students, a Charter school, and sub in an Autistic self-contained class.
