We are thrilled to partner with Great Basin College, offering tenth- to twelfth-grade students the opportunity to earn college credit while still in high school. If you are interested in dual enrollment, follow these steps:

• Check your eligibility.

  • Tenth-grade students under the age of 16 need a minimum 3.5 GPA to apply. They must also take the Accuplacer exam and report to GBC's Academic Success Center.

  • Juniors need a minimum 3.0 GPA to apply.

  • Seniors need a minimum 2.5 GPA to apply.

• Review the master course list.

  • Some classes require a specific placement test score or have prerequisite courses that must be completed prior to registering. Be sure to check all requirements with GBC.

• Apply online.

• Complete a high school packet.

  • Drop off your completed packet to Ms. Fritchie. You can also send it through email.

• Double check all deadlines.

  • Complete and return all paperwork, tests, and applications before GBC’s posted deadline.
