We are thrilled to announce the award recipients for the Scholastic Art Awards 2025 Northern Nevada region! This year, there are 595 awards from the 1,311 submissions. The judges were impressed by the creativity, skill and originality students demonstrated in their highly competitive work.
THE AWARDS
Gold Key: Represents the highest level of achievement at the regional level. Gold Key works successfully touched on the three areas of the judging criteria: originality, technical skill and the emergence of a personal vision. Gold Key works are automatically entered into the national competition where they will compete with all other Gold Key works from across the nation.
American Visions Nominees: From the works that were awarded Gold Keys, judges nominate five individual pieces across all categories and grade levels that they believe represent the “Best In Show” for our region.
Silver Key: Work is competitive at the regional level and demonstrates skill and achievement in the selected medium.
Honorable Mention: Recognizes students with artistic potential that should be encouraged to continue to develop their skills and concepts.
